I have just purchased this universal dividing head and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it or the company, made in Milan, Italy

Looks very similar to a Mecatecnica (Spanish) Universal Dividing Head I've got for sale currently with the direct indexing plate. (Was going to keep it but I found a genuine deckel one with overarm and tailstock - rocking horse poo level 100)
Looks like yours has the driveshaft for setting it up to the leadscrew of the table for milling helical gears. Italian machine tools in my experience are very nice - my new big lathe is a graziano and it's a very well thought out thing. D'andrea boring heads are the equal, if not not better than Wohlhaupter as well.

Found a manual on ebay now, that was lucky ! It all set up on the mill now, will give it a test when I have a bit more time in a few days.
