By the way Rob

Did you bang your head when you thought to make it with Teak
( A very rich man this will soon be poor ) #-o

The project I'm making isn't very big so ain't using up a whole lot of timber and in any case the teak was 'obtained' from a lifestyle a galaxy away. I do love it, but it don't love my plane blades   - Rob

I think this is actually a gloat disguised as a moan
Teak is lovely to work with , it does what you tell it to do . Same as iroko and wenge . I do sympathize with your tools though .

Look on the bright side, Rob - it would be even harder to work if you didn't have such nice planes :)

Cheers
