I've no experience of either but I note that the 12" model has 3 wheels. I've always been told that 2 wheel models are preferable.

I had the three wheel version and it was aweful.
Blade guides crap. No power and it would wander off line as and when the fancy took it.
Better bet in the budget range is either Perform or Draper, but again, don't expect them to perform (sorry, no pun intended) miracles.
