Went to my lock up tonight where i house my tools and bench etc and had an unpleasant surprise. The lockup has had access from a bunch of sub contractors and one of them has decided to help himself to my tools.
His ignorance was refreshing as he has stolen my ryobi drill bits and only nicked my plastic handled chisels (though i had just spent a couple of hours sorting them out)
The wife is at a loss to understand why i find this funny, unfortunately due to my expanding tool collection i didn't want to list some of the other contents available to steal.
At least the silly person that let them in has agreed to replace them, not sure how expensive chisels are

you are one luck sob

somebody accepted that he let them in AND said he will pay for the tools

No luck involved. I allocate which contracts they get over the coming year. Not that anyone has admitted anything "they must have been lying about" etc.
Lying in a closed drawer more like.
