Chestnut burr bowl

Well I am almost fully kitted out again have just finished a Christmas stall in a garden centre every weekend for the last 5 weeks not very profitable but it is good being back in the saddle
I have just finished a Chestnut burr bowl 8" x 3" at the highest point

Good to see you up an spinning again in ernest, that's a beauty of a bowl.
Afraid I could not contemplate that sort of craft market routine,especially if things were slow.

It's great to see you back where you belong (behind a lathe) Woody. I don't know where you find these beautiful lumps of wood, but I'm glad you do as the end results are nothing short of stunning.

Thank you gentlemen its good to be back and turning again you will never know how much I missed my turning for all those months I tried model making and stick carving but they weren't for me
The burr was given to me by a friend a fellow turner
