Are there any suppliers left of decent casement butt hinges?

I used to be able to get good solid brass hinges, with some meat in them, with washers that were interleaved in the hinges, with a hinge pin that wasn't a soft bit of cruddy metal roughly hammered in by a trained monkey in China, with screw holes that were actually properly countersunk and matched that of the screws and screws that weren't made of nougat.

TIA

I think I've got some decent ones from Wurth, 3" brass washered butts, around 4mm leaf thickness. Didn't come with screws though so that could be a sticking point...

Im fitting these to casements at the moment and they feel nice quality. 3mm thick leafs but they don't come with screws- dont think ive ever had brass hinges come with screws now I think about it :geek:
Think these came from ' westward building services'

Don't forget that sometimes if you wish to get a perfect finish, it's good to get a sharp countersink and take an extra little bit out. The depth the holes are countersunk to means that the screws are dead flush with the hinge, and it's much tidier if they're slightly below. This doesn't matter much if the work is painted, and of course is only a matter of opinion.

What came as more of a surprise is that all the hinge widths are the same and the ends are even square :!: They even managed to get all the holes in the same place.
When it comes to painting I like to take the hinges off so I can splash and flick the paint everywhere :D
This time I won't need to label each hinge to make sure it fit's the right housing.

Can't remember the last time I used butt hinges on a timber casement. I tend to rout out for Egress/easy Clean friction stays.
