Hi
This is my first post.

I'm starting to build a garden shed on Monday after living here for 14yrs. I've got it drawn out and ordered everything from Listers in Newton on Trent. The shed is 12' X 8' and has a 12' gable, but I can't decide whether to have it as a diamond or a square sitting on the two ends of the shed (See Attachment).

I've gone with a PVC corrugated panels as I want to use as much natural light as possible. I'm not bothered about the neighbours seeing in as I'm not a terrorist or growing drugs and I'm sure they've got better things to do with their time.

The only drawback here is that Listers don't sell a ridge cap to go with the PVC panels which I thought was strange. I was thinking of making a ridge cap out of the off cuts I'll end up with when I've finished putting the roof on.

Has anyone else covered their roof with PVC panels and if so could they tell me how it worked out.

I'd be grateful for any feedback.

Thanks a lot. (hammer)

I'm sorry, I should have searched the forum for relative posts like the ones that appeared when I submitted my first post. I can only put it down to old age (72).

I'm surprised you can't find corrugated ridge. I thought I saw some in B&Q. Most builders merchants should stock it.

I used twinwall polycarbonate on my shed (concrete sectional garage) & had trouble sourcing flat ridge sections at a reasonable price. Eventually some came up on Ebay. I have used inverted guttering & white pvc flexi trim in the past.
