Hi all. I have been thinking about getting a table saw for some time and although I don’t have lots to spend I am finding it is becoming more of a ‘need’. So I have been looking at the einhell one from wickes or evolution or Titan one from screwfix so that should give you an idea on how much I have to spend. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Sam

I have the titan one And it works fine.
I have two in fact one at work and one at home!!
I've cut 3" larch on it and it cut fine.
It's noisy as you might expect!!
Accuracy is fine too although I'm no expert.
The fence guide goes full width which is nice.
I use it for ripped ripping down timber etc.

Never used an evolution etc but I don't think they are worth the extra.

Above that you paying 5x for an induction motor.

Cheers James

Thanks James, appreciate the response. Do you find that you need to add something on the sides to support the timber as I don’t think it has extendable sides?
thanks
Sam

It's almost 4ft wife with the extensions and feels quite sturdy.

It's a little shorter at the back so an out feed / saw horse might be useful
you could build it into a mft style bench which would be good.

I can get some pics in a bit.

That’s great thanks James. Typically they are all out of stock now! 🙄.

I was in the market a couple of years ago and spent lots of time researching for a decent table saw.
I am just a hobbyist and am very pleased with my choice.

I have used it many times after making sleds and various jigs for it.
I invested in a better blade and it has not missed a beat apart from the rip fence losing a locator piece.
I got on to Metabo and they sent out a whole new assembly for it. Fixed in no time.
The folding legs and stand work very well as I have to stow it when not in use.

Highly recommended and hope this helps.

Here is my one, table measures 29 x 25" + 4" extension at the back.

Cheers James
