I bought a Buck and Ryan no. 4C saw for £1 at a boot sale yesterday. Does anybody know anything about Buck and Ryan? Were they saw makers or tool dealers and when?
I will photograph the saw at the weekend.
I think I have just answered my own question. They are tool dealers and are still in existence. My silly fingers typed Buck and Hickman the first time I looked.
The address on the saw is Edgeware Road, London so may help to date it.
