The ONLY thing of interest is the 'tongue oil' - absolutely nothing to do with 'Oval' turning - which incidentally is virtually impossible (CNC Lathes could be made to do it) - though 'Elliptical' turning is.

I’ve finally got round to ordering my ‘Vicmarc Oval Device’ ... for elliptical turning ...just need to wait for ?Vicmarc to make it now ...but no hurry.

I do like Brendan Stemp’s videos ...watching his stuff on skew chisels helped me a fair bit
