Just fitted this morning, thought I would share. Birds eye maple veneer on solid maple top. The brackets are solid maple with wenge and the finish is Danish oil

Well Done Steve. Nicely done. The figure in that BE Maple is gorgeous. Client or Your own?

You coming to the bash this year BTW?

Thanks for showing, is this a collapsible table, i.e. does it come off?

Nice work as well.

OK, I reckon those legs could be made to slide into sockets which could hold the top and then turn into a temporary bar, I've got a tight kitchen but that could work for me. Thanks.

Sounds and interesting idea, let me know how you get on I would like to see :)

The brackets I have there that you see do actually slide on. I used a metal fixing, you can't see it. The idea was to have no visible fixings. Its called an interlocking flushmount fitting.
