Hi,

Can anybody recommend a blade for my biscuit jointer? Lamello are no doubt good, but price is pretty steep; are they worth the outlay? At the lower end, Axminster do one for about £15, but I don't have a great deal of faith in Axminster's own brand stuff. Buy cheap, buy twice so often rings true!

What baldes to people use and recommend that fall somewhere in the middle?

Thanks

Two things.

The first is, I have recently bought an Axminster blade for my Makita track saw, it was much cheaper than the original and has performed unite well, so no complaints.

The second is, ensure you get the right kerf width. I bought one a while ago and found my biscuits were too thick. I think the one I now have is 4mm?

Mick
