Charley has kindly given me permission to let you all know about this event at our Nuneaton Store.
Two Day Special Event - Friday 14th & Saturday 15th October (9.30am - 4pm).
Festool Product Launch (Friday 14th only, 9am-3pm)
Festool rep Graham Jackson will be in store demonstrating new Festool products including the new DOMINO Jointing Machine, Cordless Impact Driver and SURFIX Oil Dispenser.
Wiha Hand Tools (Friday 14th only)
Neil Bush from Whia will be in store demonstrating a variety of products from their vast range tools and accessories, illustrating the high quality product and the multiple applications they can be used for.
Bosch Power Tools (Saturday 15th only)
Karl Warnett will be in store with a selection of tools to demonstrate but also be used to get hands on yourself.
Lamello & Mafell: quality & precision
Mafell will be in store offering demonstrations and advice on their high quality woodworking machinery. This high precision brand is fast becoming very popular in the UK. Get your hands on the complete product range from the compact flexi-track saw to the 12" hand-held beam planer.
The Swiss based company Lamello makes an amazing range of very high quality hand power tools for the woodworker. This day will allow you to see what makes this range so special. Serious woodworkers and production specialists should make time to visit the store during this event to take advantage of expert advice and techniques.
Sharpening with Tormek
Martin Brown from BriMarc Tools & Machinery will be demonstrating the Tormek sharpening system showing how easy it is to use to keep those chisels and gouges razor sharp.
Power Carving with Proxxon & Arbortech
We often have traditional carving demonstrations in store but for these two days we thought we would demonstrate a different side to carving. Proxxon and Arbortech are known for their high quality, durable products, during this weekend demonstration Dave Jones will be demonstrating the two carvers whilst also offering help and advice on any queries you may have on the Proxxon or Arbortech range.
Souber Mortice Jig
The Souber DBB Lock Jig is a system that can be used to fit a door lock in less than 5 minutes! Can this jig really be used to fit a lock in less than 5 minutes? If in doubt, or merely interested then come along and you will be able to see the jig being demonstrated and even try it for yourself.
Fein Power Tools
Nathan from Fein will be instore demonstrating products including the ever popular universal Multi-master.
Lie-Nielsen + Veritas Hand Planes
Donal Grogan will be demonstrating the Lie-Nielsen range of quality hand planes and simply using any of their products will soon illustrate why they are arguably best you can buy, feel free to get hands on and try out the planes for yourself and 'feel the difference'.
Woodturning - Jason Breach + Gorden Stewart
Winner of Axminster's Strictly woodturning and talented woodturner Jason Breach and High Wycombe's Gorden Stewart will be spending the two days discussing and demonstrating turning, if you are a seasoned turner or getting started as a hobby there will be something for everyone. Both Jason and Gorden are highly experienced in their fields of expertise and will be available to answer any queries you may have or offer advice on woodturning.
