Axminster delivered this morning my small order from yesterday. Great service and only a quid for delivery.

But I think a padded envelope might have done! :)

Same thing for me 6 months ago. Box about a foot square containing my order of ten 3mm drill bits in a zip lock bag!! (hammer) the rest of the box filled with air pillow packing like the OP's photo.

Nice quality boxes though, I flatten them down, save them and use for orders I send.

I had a box if flat pack storage boxes delivered that could have come in its original packing? Instead it came in this enormous one (1m x 0.5 x 0.5) complete with airbags!!

Grandkids made a den out if it :)

I placed an order last Friday, but it won't be delivered for another 2 weeks despite them having 11 in stock. It is quite a heavy band saw though and they are delivering it themselves, but I did wonder if an external courier would have been faster, but probably much less careful.

A courier won't get it right into your workshop for you either.

Delivery time is very quick in my experience and I guess the sometimes oversize boxes somehow suit their system. I would like to see a tax on unnecessary packaging - the food industry is one of the worst.
