Authentic or far east clone?

Honestly you cant tell until you get it in your hand and use it. But I have a clone and it works fine.
 
I have that sharpening jig with a brass wheel tho. love it for sharpening so simple.
 
It's a clone - the originals have Eclipse 36 and made in England written on the side.

They tend to wobble but great for forming cambers.
Personally I would buy a Kell - they are made in England.

It's hard to see what even a grottily made example could do to stop the design (which is superb) working.

Be that as it may, I much prefer using well made and beautiful tools, even when I don't need to.
