I made one very easy to make. It should be in jig section under cam dowel jig

You could try Peter Sefton tool shop - probably don't carry it but may be able to add it to their next order.

That's not what he wants that's just a normal dowel jig

An Axminster no 1 might be able to do the job but whether the holes are the right size, and in the right place, and whether the jig would fit where it is required only the OP would know.

I'm not sure the largest bush would be large enough to fit the dowel, however you might possibly have a hole in the right place which could be enlarged.

The Axminster kit is supplied with bushes for 6mm, 8mm and 10mm dowels.

Whoops silly me for some reason I was thinking cam dowels even though I did look at the link lol . Anyway its still pretty much the same jig just different size and depth holes.

For doing cross dowels in the past I've just used my wolfcraft dowelling jig

Yeah, I have a basic dowel jig but am making beds to order to have a lot of these to drill. Like the idea of a single jig to drill both holes without marking out.

Chippy, that jig you made is perfect as I already use router for the bolt holes.

Anyone know where I can pic up some steel inserts with M6 internal diameter?

Yeah that's what I thought you just need to change the hole sizes to suit your application.

Yeah I ordered the drill guide kit. Gonna make an L shape jig with 2 inserts so I can drill both holes without moving the jig and know they'll intersect.
