Just looking a 4 jaw chucks for my axminster lathe wondering if anyone had one and if they are any good?

I thought that I'd heard of most of the chucks that were made for woodturning but I've never heard of a Gloster or even a Gloucester.

Do you have any more information or even a link?

Thats really an engineering chuck and not whats used for woodturning as you won't be able to fit things like dovetail jaws etc to it and its also an independant chuck not a self centering one.

It would also need a backplate machining before you could fit it to your spindle.
