Half way through routing some worktop joints yesterday and suddenly the plunge froze. In order to carry on working I had to use the micro adjuster to plunge. However, it wouldn't raise back up after - I had to wind out the micro adjuster and tap the base with a mallet.
The stanchions are clean and there's no lateral movement. I've soaked them in silicone lube and it freed them up for a short while but now it's gone really stiff again.
Any ideas anyone? The router is only a few months old and this was only it's second outing.
