I have a router from America, it is 110v and has a two pin plug . I have a transformer from 240v to 110 v, what I want to know is can I just change the plug on the router to one that will fit into the transformer?

Yes easy peasy, i have done it with my routers/ sanders etc from the usa. Works out quite well as they need to be 110v for site use for me. :)

Rather than changing all the plugs on my American tools, I put a transformer plug onto an American extension cable.
Ooooh good idea, not sure how that would stand for me on site though. :-k Guess it would be ok for home users though. :)
