Aldi had another unmissable drill set on offer this weekend......possibly not the best in the world but great as a spare set. A question... does anyone know what the grey collars / sprung sleeves are for ? the grey ones in the top right. Geoff

If you rotate them on a drill bit, do they lock in place? They could be depth stops.

They are for putting over screwdriver bits to hold the screw in place while you start it off. Well the ones I brought in a kit a few years ago are.
