Just setting out on a camper van conversion and I'm fancying a bendy worktop like this:

Trouble is I'm stuck as to how to do it. First thought was flexi ply laminated over a form but I'm not convinced of ply for a worktop. And it's a long piece to form in one.

Any ideas?

That looks really smart but if it's going to be a practical conversion you're losing valuable worktop space by doing that. I've done a couple and every bit of flat surface is useful when you're cooking, cleaning up etc.

Or so the staff tell me.

It would still look good with a smaller diameter curve I suppose but would certainly lose some visual impact. Sorry, don't mean to sound critical, it's just the first thing that came to mind.

Shug.

Why not ply for a worktop? it's going to have a plastic laminate on it any way isn't it, and it's not exactly an heavy industrial kitchen your building.
