Hi,

i'm building a PA system at the moment and have filled about 100 screw holes with cheap wood filler (lesson learnt!). At first they looked perfect and flush but now they have all sunk and can be seen through the paint.

Whats a good filler to use on MDF? ideally in a few colours. They will be sanded flush.
Input welcome

E-pox-y :)

Epoxy fillers aren't the only fillers that won't shrink but generally speaking you're safe with them. You buy a commercial version or mix your own as needed.

If you'll be painting car fillers are also worth a try, a bit stinky though so good ventilation or a respirator is advisable.

Epoxies and automotive fillers are also strong enough to do structural repairs if required.

Thanks guys. I will give the car filler a go. Sounds like you need to work quickly with it!

Oh yeah, it doesn't mess about that stuff. Sands off beautifully though. You have a ROS right?
