I found this on youtube just by chance and found it to be interresting.

Aasmund Kleiv making skis the old way in Morgedal in Telemark in 1975. This particular ski pattern was developed by local ski maker Sondre Nordheim in the 1870-ies but the tradition has roots reaching back into ancient times.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5_A_ZF4tWo

A. Interesting film. Is an axe still regarded as a valuable part of a hand tool woodworkers arsenal? I have seen them feature in several similarly aged videos.
