200 year old Berlin desk

A friend in UK sent me the link below and I thought it worth sharing. I know there are member craftsmen here with far more capability than this 'ere wood bodger, and many with good knowledge of historical furniture, (I have none) so I guess it's not new to many. But I was gob-smacked anyway.

I was lucky enough to see the Roentgen cabinet at the Austrian Imperial Furniture Depot and museum last month along with some of the other amazing pieces by Roentgen jnr. I spent 3 days just studying them, much to my delight and SWMBO's hurumphing. I'll put up a thread with pics once I work out how to get my pc to recognize my pineapple piece of carp phone. or workout how to get them onto a host site from the phone.
