Hello!
Almost finished my first router table and I thought I'd share it with you all. It's nothing unique or innovative, just unashamedly copied from other people's designs and too much watching YouTube.
I built it around an old Elu mof177 which I've had for years and is an excellent router, but as its quite big and heavy I thought it'd work well in a table.
Top is made from 2 layers of 18mm birch ply, clamped to make sure it was flat and then glued and screwed.
I had some 2.5mm plastic coated aluminium skinned laminated sheet stuff left over from a shopfit job I did a couple of years ago so I topped the birch ply with this. I'm not 100% happy with it though....so it'll probably get changed at some point.
Rockler aluminium insert plate from amazon I think?, not too expensive and seems really good quality. T track and guard from woodworkers workshop and seem really good quality.
Ive just got some featherboards to make and some storage shelves/ boxes for bits and bobs underneath.
Apologies for the poor photos, I'm waiting for an electrician to come and connect the workshop electrics up as I'm running a small led lamp and extension as my main lighting/power at the moment.
Oh and spot the deliberate mistake/mistakes
