18g brads/nails

Afternoon all,

Just wondered where people who use these tend to buy there nails/brads from?

eBay would be a good bet I guess but perhaps that use quite a lot know better. Was looking for a selection box/pack really but then they are more expensive than buying separately.

I get my 16g ones from toolstation, they're labelled tacwise (the people who make those crap electric guns lol)

The brad's are fine though and im sure they do 18g too

Last batch I bought was from Axy. They come in boxes of a thousand for not much

I always assume that Screwfix, with it being a large "general DIY" chain will be expensive. Even though I use them quite a bit. This is one of those times I am wrong. Looking through their catalogue, their prices for brad nails are surprisingly competitive. Add that it's literally 1 minute from work, I think I'll just buy from there.
The only thing they lack is a selection box. I'm not sure which I'll use most so ideally wanted to get a selection then see which I ran out of first. But seems as so it's so accessible, it's no big deal, I'll just pop in as and when.

Axy didn't have a selection either so I bought a thousand of each in 5mm length increments through the range of my nailer.

For what it's worth. Screwfix have some on clearance.
I just got 5000 18g 20mm Bostich brads for £2.49, usually £10.
