    tormeks t3 and t7

I would honestly say get the T-7. Its a larger machine and is a lot sturdier. Wheel is also bigger for those wider plane blades. Motor is built for continuous running, whereas the T3 is 30 on/30 off (or there abouts at least! basically its not built for continuous running) . T3 has a plastic...

    Tormek T7 vs Worksharp 3000

The main differences between the T3 and T7 are: T3 has ABS casing, T-7 has metal. T-7 is rated for commercial use. T-7 can be used continuously, the t-3 i believe is 30 mins on, 30 mins off (or similar) Both accept the same jigs, the t7 comes with more jigs however in the package to start...

    biscuit jointer

To be honest I wouldn't own a Clarke Biscuit Jointer if it was handed to me for free. It isn't top quality stuff; your best option is to look at the Einhell biscuit jointer (around the same price as the Clarke but much better quality!)

    Tormek T-7 Bench Grinder

Hey, I am looking into purchasing one of these for all my sharpening needs. I have looked at a ton of youtube videos and seems ones of the easiest sharpening systems. I don't do it a lot. but figured I should always buy good quality so it will last me years! Anyone have any feedback on this...

    Which palm sander? Festool / Metabo / Bosch / Makita / ?

The DeWalt one is great now, although it never used to be that good. Bosch one, clips are slightly dodgy on the front. I think they have repaired this problem now however. Makita is absolutly fantastic and I would reccomend it a lot. Not had any experience with the Metabo or Festool. Although...

    Bosch POF 1400 ACE Router

Many local tool shops are selling this for £39.99 Reconditioned (Its just stuff Argos has sent back because they had too many) and at Wizer if you use the Green Range for Pro use then your warranty becomes automatically void.

    Advice on routers

If I was you I would get a Triton Router. Not such a big name therefore cheaper than the Trend. Basically built to go on a router table. Won numerous awards for being the best router ever. Nothing but fantastic reviews. Plus its orange!

How much Discount at the shows.

I was informed that Brimarc only recently stopped supplying retailers with Lie-Nielson stuff. Which is why rutlands are doing LN cheaper than normal, they are trying to clear their old stock.

How much Discount at the shows.

Axminster now are the sole suppliers of Lie-Nielson tools. They do not supply any other retailers with Lie-Nielson. Meaning they can in theory price fix the product now, so don't expect any discount, because if its Lie-Nielson you want they know it is only them that they can purchase it from!

Bosch sds bits made in China!

You can't automatically assume that because something is made in China it is poor. I am sure Bosch have done their research with choosing a supplier for the bits as they do have a reputation to protect.

    Sliding Mitre Saw

Perhaps try looking into an Einhell one, considerably better than any of the stuff Screwfix churns out. also cheaper.
