Spanner for Trend T11 collet nut

Can anyone suggests a good 22mm spanner suitable for a Trend T11 collet nut? A bog standard open end spanner will work but I was hoping for a spanner with a drop end or even a ratcheting 22mm open end spanner. Have spent hours on the Web but no luck.......... Thanks Brian

    4 inch Cyclone

I've read all the informative threads here but I'm finding it difficult to source a 4 inch cyclone. Axminster do sell one but at a price. Anyone know of a company in the UK that sells them? I have looked but no joy. If Axminster is the only source anyone got one to report on how well it works?

    Inco Bandsaw wheel tyre advice

I am trying to get same new tyres for my old Inca band saw. Seen some advertised on E-Bay from America by Blue Max but I am unsure if the ads are genuine. They seem to advertise the same product at different prices and some claim to be the original (dull finish) and claim others with a shiny...

    New band saw advice

Looking to add a new band saw to my garage workshop. I previously owned a Scheppach Baso 3 which was ok but had several shortcomings and was sold when I moved house. Like the look of the Laguna 14DX but it is stretching the budget somewhat. Any advice on which other bandsaws I should be...

Recomendations to Shows / large sellers with show rooms

Used to have a smallholding where I had a whole barn as a workshop. Had a fine selection of large (and noisy) tools. Recently moved to a "normal" property with a single garage and neighbours! All the big tools were sold and I will be replacing them with much smaller and quieter tools. Does...

Dust extraction - flex hose. Smooth vs normal

I've been reading all the excellent articles on dust extraction but I have been left with one area I have not seen info on. Most of the flexible hose that I've seen being used and tested is with the spiral wire embedded in the tube wall leaving a ridged wall to the tube. I have seen some...

    Caution - Banggood delivery charge

Almost ordered Drill Pro Brass Handled Mitre with Alu bar for £63.34 - a product I would want and a good price. 3 weekish delivery from China which for almost every other product is free but this item had a £71.77 delivery charge listed further down the page. Would have been easy to miss -...

    Shed floor insulation (not workshop)

Your thoughts appreciated..... Need to build a lean to shed that will just be used for storage and not worked in and will have no heating.. My thoughts are it would be better to have have concrete floor with a DPC and no insulation. I think that this would make the shed less likely to go...

Axminster AC 216 or AC 254 Table Saw?

Setting up a workshop in a single garage and trying to decided which table saw to get. Will be using a track saw for sheet work but have always had a Table Saw and really like using them. The Axminster models seem to fit my budget and space available plus with induction motors are much quieter...

Track vs circular saw + track vs Kreg Accu cut??????

Hi wise folk, Can I request your thoughts on my present conundrum please? Moved house, sold all my large kit and starting afresh with kit that will work in a single garage with neighbours! Therefore size and noise levels important. I have read many informed threads on the forum about not...

    Quiet Table Saw

Having moved for somewhere where I did not have to worry about noise, I now live with houses around me and noise will be come an issue unless I take care to minimise the noise from my machines and of course when I use them. dB levels have raised themselves high on my check list for the choice...

Hi all, Just joined and hope this is the correct place for this post... Just moved house and having had a massive workshop on a small holding with large machines I now have a single garage. I sold all my large wood working tools and I am now looking to replace them with something more...
