    Bandsaw not switching on

My brilliant Startrite 24-S-5 has just developed a problem. This morning it was working fine. I then put, a new blade on it turned it on but the small metal block behind the blade that helps in stopping the blade being pushed back as you feed work going into it, pinched to much and stopped the...

Can anyone recommend a decent Air nail gun? It's for firing brads from 8mm to 50mm long. I had an Axminster one for years until it "gave up the ghost." I recently bought a Draper one and its useless. Thanks Arnold9801

    Varnish not drying

I applied the first coat of varnish to a sign I carved yesterday and it's still very tacky 17 hours after it went on. I shook and stirred the tin and didn't apply it to thick. It's a new tin of a good make-Ronseal yacht varnish. It's so annoying. Can anyone advise what's wrong?

Shed build with metal profile sheets

I intend to build an 8m x6m shed with metal profile sheets. Last week a friend of mine outlined to me that he had built a shed from similar materials and was very surprised by the level of rust in there due to the amount of condensation on the back/inside of these sheets. I found this a bit...
