E size prints for making templates

Corel Draw/Paint lets you print across multiple pages. Didn't do the Cyan cartridge any favours... (hammer)

    Painting over creosote

I'd just line it with some sheet material and paint that rather than messing trying to paint over Creosote.

    Steel sieve mesh?

I've seen the bigger mesh but mine's 8mm so a bit finer, more work of course to bash everything through it. I'm in no rush, I've zero budget to build anything yet so if it takes 6 months to get rid of it all for free then no matter. ;-) The guy who came years ago about leveling it off moaned...

    Steel sieve mesh?

Had to sort this myself (you can buy this sheet but it's more than I wanted to pay). Draw out a template to fit the sieve, printed and glued to a sheet of steel. This is my second one as the steel I had to hand was 0.8mm for practising car bodywork with. Then drill the holes out (badly) as...

    Steel sieve mesh?

Tried a company but after a back and forth they decided they only sold stainless steel and it would cost more than a new sieve and they had a £30 minimum order blah blah etc. "Supply metal mesh and steel mesh, woven wire in stainless or mild steel" - pretty sure that says mild steel. :roll...

    Steel sieve mesh?

Looks good but not up to the stuff I'm sieving. (hammer) Soil with stones/concrete bits then a sandstone sub base from a late 50's garage then compressed soil/sub soil on top of a sandy base. I spend half the time bashing lumps up with the head of a hand sweeping brush.

    Steel sieve mesh?

Many thanks Mr Rodd I'll pop and have a look at that in Wickes. It's a hand cranked one from Machine Mart, there's no way I'd be doing using my old style sieve. I've knocked up a granite topped work area while I'm doing it. I looked at motorized ones but with it having the sandstone in it...

    Steel sieve mesh?

I'm currently excavating to hopefully build a garage/workshop. Being thrifty I refuse to pay for skips so the company can charge me for them then sell the soil I put in them as well. So I have gone the recycling/Freecycle route and set out to sieve the lot then I can offer it as sieved, bagged...

Freud/Casals FT2000VCE router BRAND NEW on ebay!

They've a FREUD FT 1000 E listed as brand new and you can see the dust and rust on it in the picture. You get asked when listing items as new etc. It should be new (other), misleading.

How to remove filler tap from gas cylinder?

I just checked and a 13kg bottle of Propane is £66.24 for a new bottle and they own the bottle still. I found mine dumped. There are 57 listings on Ebay for gas bottle stoves, scaremongering...

Auction sales of timber and tools

Many thanks to the OP and MickCheese for the links. Registered and looked through the massive lists, picked out a pallet of perspex sheets. Won for £16.56 in total. Took Thursday off work, hired a van and picked it up. 1 sheet on Ebay is £16.45 each , there's 400 sheets on the pallet...

    cutting acrylic

Here's some 5mm I did on my 2nd hand £40 Clarke table saw: It's not ideal but it is straight and not all melted. (It's for lasering so the edge doesn't matter to me, just cutting a big sheet down to size).

Online shop error, what to do.

It's their fault so they should provide the return carriage. Or get the card provider to get the money back then it's up to them to arrange taking the goods back. If you sent them back then they can drag out the refund.

Oven cabinet, for a gas eye-level oven. Advice please?

I worked a while at a kitchen company and they were just taller versions of base cabinets but without a solid back just a couple of cross pieces in the side cabinet material on the back. Nothing other added to them etc.
