Hi Guys Im back at the lathe after my lay off with being on the bench just turned a Lime burr bowl never turned this before so throwing myself at your mercy for advice as to the best finish I got a combination of most oils and waxes and im looking for the best Finish to enhance the grain...

I Too have a lime burr waiting to be turned its very soft and I did remove the bark exposing the outer surface to give me a lumpy effect its as you say soft but its ready to turn now just hope it comes out as good as yours that's a lovely piece something that's a keeper for sure. regards Bill
