    New yankee workshop- freeview

If you watch some of the earlier series you'll see the workshop is no where near as well equipped as the later series :) IIRC correctly you'd see a lack of nail guns, a much smaller table saw/jointer/thicknesser, no spindle sanders etc etc unfortunately you rarely see those on the box :(

Do all router table inserts need drilling (to mount your router) or can you get pre drilled versions?

    Replacement B&D battery and charger

Found a few used on ebay but the cost is higher than a new 12v B&D drill driver - time for some new kit I think Any suggestions for a decent quality machine around the £40 mark? Just for general diy, nothing hard core :)

Pocket hole joinery for book shelves

Pocket hole joinery for book shelves

Woodwork gurus :) what're your opinions on using pocket hole joinery for bookshelves as in this series of videos :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VZlSHd7 ... IHOOTCk%3D I'm looking to build a taller case with more shelves to hold DVDs and paperbacks ...

    New Yankee Workshop

Another Norm fan here - stumbled across the show years ago and it got me interested in woodwork although I can be considered at best a dabbler :)

Which (cheap!) wood to use for a bed ...

Nice looking bed Pren, I'm planning on knocking up a shelf unit sort of thing using the same general design as the loft bed (scaled down of course :)) before going for the bed build so I'll try the B&Q Pro stuff for that as a test ...

Which (cheap!) wood to use for a bed ...

Should have qualified the "cheap" with "suitable for the purpose" lol :) appreciate the info ....

Which (cheap!) wood to use for a bed ...

Planning on a loft bed for my 12 year old as my first real build, based on this :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1HRFbnHUog Which cheap(ish) timber would you suggest - for the stuff I've thrown together in the past the banana pine from B&Q has been fine .... the bed in the video uses Western...

    Norm No More!

It's a shame - much as he may be vilified for the machinery he always came across as a nice bloke, hopefully this will give Sky the kick they need to show more of the programs.

    Axminster customer service.

The value of your order doesn't affect service either - my problems with a sub £10 order were sorted out just as well as the earlier reports.
