    Shower Room floor

The problem with tiling is that you have to have a vast range of experience to understand wether the floor deflection can be taomed. Deflection is what you describe as bounce. Personally I'd call the BAL technical rep or Weber technical rep in to see what they suggest. That way you are...

    a stroll through design

OMG you'll have the thought police decending and modding the post for it being a racist (little dicks) remark  Unfortunately the peeps who used to drive BMWs and Mercs have now moved over to Audi (in my experience...) Right back to design. For me (being 55) its the sound of a car or...

    Ceiling mtd bed mechanism. Advice?

If it were me I'd be the same! She is however pretty good (read responsible) so apart from showing her friends Im pretty sure it would be ok. I was thinking webbing from luggage straps of say 250kg each. These could then be taken over rollers with guides and fastened to the bed end. you're right...

    Ceiling mtd bed mechanism. Advice?

My daughter, who is 7 is moving into a larger bedroom and we want to give her as much floor space as possible. So, I've seen this http://www.bedup.fr/category/galerie-accessoires/?tag_url=bedup-hetre-teinte-blanc  and like the idea of doing something similar. Lets face it, it'd...

Starting a book. Hmm. That'll give the bloody do gooders and tree huggers :-({|= something to read at least; even if it does only run to two pages (front and back covers...) I love it here

    Reclaimed timber

Thanks Dean. They are the same size as the side rails actually (approx 45mm) but the corners have been softened with a router. My daughter is continually standing on it despite warnings of dire consequences from Daddy! I do know what you mean though and from this image they look a bit 'twiggy'...

    Order from Rockler USA !

Have you thought about the duty that's payable? In my experience, IF, you get caught for it it makes a very big difference in the final price paid. I'll keep my finger crossed for you...!!

    I'm Gone

Oh dear. I've seen this stuff happen many times and, I have to say, its always been about HOW something is done/said rather than the fact it's done/said. Having modded previously we did have a tiered and narrow ranging setup which meant one wasn't simply trawling through all day and getting...

    Lidl screws

I've used both the express and exterior glues previously and they are both fine. Certainly seen no difference to any other I've bought.

Has Range Rover lost the plot ?

Oh hell Doc, you been spying on me? Dibs. That's why, as an ex (my wife says occasionally I slip back) Southern twit, I came 'home' when I came to Yorkshire 12 years ago. Sigh...

    Bathroom cabinet

What are the made from Mailee? Lee J. In my experience its worth making from water resistant MDF but just make sure that the basin is not actually touching and seal using a good silicone. The reason for not touching is that despite it being water resist it will still eventually fall apart if...

    Lidl screws

For holding bogs down its always best to use brass. It reacts less with the uric acid. Even marine stainless is affected eventually.
