Replacement on/off switch for Scheppach TS30

A few years ago I owned a TS30. Although the importer NMA of Yorkshire has held a variety of spares. I adapted a Axi switch to overcome my problem. You also need to look at your supply as the machine does need a dedicated 16 amp not via a 13 amp socket, as this can then look like a switch...

    Veneering on OSB

With the availability of various thicknesses now of OSB. Has any of our guru's tried or have tips on veneering. To my mind due to its structure does this affect having to use a backing veneer or other layering oddities :?: Or is this a case of suck it and see. Richard

With the cost of LED replacement units cost sub £25 the lighting difference is phenomenal, the power saving factor is more pennies for G&Ts if thats your pleasure. BS400 Bandsaw Upper Guide Question/Concern

Hi Congratulations you have discovered what a k r a p i design that part of the BS is. I had the same problem with the 350S. I eventually solved it by turning a piece of lignum vitae to the 2 diameters of the upper and lower bearing holder and initially have them touching the blade while...

    Veneering on MDF

In the past when applying veneer to plywood I have always balanced the other side with a layer of an other veneer to equal the stresses out irregardless of the thickness. Do the same rules apply if using say 10mm MDF? Grateful for any advice on past experience. Richard

Hi All Now theres a blast from the past. I remember seeing a contraption like this in a tool shop in Fort Worth in 1968ish. I think the shop was Millar Falls. As the drill had a Welsh sounding name I was intrigued but couldn'd find a UK address. From then on I forgot all about in until now...

    Powered Respirators Vs Dust Masks

Hi All In preference I use the JSP Powercap IPface mask, it is lighter than the others also the jet of air is is strong enough to not only clear any breathing concentration but also prevents any dust coming in around the face fitting.
