Veneering on OSB

With the availability of various thicknesses now of OSB. Has any of our guru's tried or have tips on veneering. To my mind due to its structure does this affect having to use a backing veneer or other layering oddities :?:
Or is this a case of suck it and see.

I can't help thinking why? Please explain why you would even ask such a thing.

I’ve done plenty of veneering, on all sorts of substrates, but never on OSB as it’s too rough. And despite knowing plenty of professional cabinet makers I’m not aware of anyone else who has ever used OSB.

That doesn’t make us right of course, but it should be enough to give you serious pause before commiting to an OSB based veneering project.
