    German Style Smoothing Plane.

    Sounds like a nice thing to be sat in the drawer, at least it's different from the numerous bailey planes we all end up with, forgetting, De rusting, sharpening, forgetting, De rusting, sharpening....and so it goes on (homer) hope it's not just me!

    Picked up a multimaster, do prefer it to my old worx, as it doesn't scream as much, but really it's the heat issue you get, as alex mentioned in his post, they get roasting hot, so glad I did.thanks

    Sharpening duty today, did a rake of chisels on veritas grinding jig, pretty decent investment when you need to do a load fast, anyway its Sunday so anything is a bonus, think I'll go and pat myself on the back :lol:

    Thanks, have been using Saxton blades for a while; but was in a rubbish worx, thing screams, gets red hot, seen an old fein, just wanted some feedback, but shall look into the well cut blades, as found destroy my Saxton ones quite quickly

    scary sharp

    Has anyone tried the scary sharp sharpening system, and could you let me know the fastest, combination of grits, heard some stories but fast is key as got shed loads to do, shall be grinding initially.

    Fein multi tool are they that much better than others, and how much is it down to the blade, and are there any brands of blade manufacturers about, that are recommended that provide a decent blade, without being over priced, thanks
