Hi guys I’m in the process of building this rc balsa wood boat, was wondering how to finish it before painting, fiberglass? Or ……… Will I need to do the whole boat or just the parts that come in contact with the water?

hi guys, Im making an rc boat witch requires 12mm balsa wood, was wondering the best practice for cutting/shaping it? would a craft knife be able to handle the 12mm thickness?

Hi Guys can anyone recommend the cheapest place to buy wood sheets cut to size? i've previously used ply direct but was wondering if there was a cheaper option I know that selco '/ B&Q etc will cut timber in store but i don't have a car/van to bring it home Any Advice appreciated

hi guys, well i've been trying to square up my rage 5s table saw using a box digital level, but once i square the blade to 90 i then lock it in place, but because the locking lever requires a bit of pressure it seems to knock it off square and the box level reads 89.7 after locking anyone else...

That’s a good shout but my bandsaw is a Clarke 185mm and thanks for the reply i did consider that but my bandsaw is an 8inch clarke and its about as accurate as a weatherman without a satellite

hi guys i attempted peter millard coasters using 18mm ply> the problem i had was my table saw couldnt clear the depth for the final slicing so i had to flip the stock and saw the remaining material my saw mm is 10 inch (255mm) any method to make this easier?

was just wondering if anyone had bought a thin rip jig that's suitable for the rage 5 s tablesaw (cutting on the left side to avoid kickback ) looking at ripping between 6mm to 24mm strips any recommendations guys

Guys, when going to collect this can one person manage it? Is it manageable for a fairly strong guy to put in the boot of the car or is it going to be a strictly 2 man job?
