    What would be the best size router cutter to use for cutting out large holes for speakers, ive tried small bits but they can break off but you get less dust, ive used the kitchen worktop 12.7 cutter for the last lot, but loads of dust, I have to go 42mm deep. cheers phil.

    I see what you mean, its for a speaker so I was hoping to drill through the speaker which has a 4mm holes I suppose if you place a flat piece of steel under the wood and stop on resistence you will have a small starter at the back to use for 5mm, this could work I think.
