Was in LIDLS the other day and they currently have an offer on a 3 pack of try squares in their middle 'bins' 3 for £5.99 Got them into the garage and they are totally square and true, the rulers are a bit flimsy but can never have too many as I'm always losing mine

So it wouldn't need to be a hardwood then?

Any suggestions on a suitable wood for making an external front door with and door frame with? Meranti / Idigbo ? Or am I barking up the wrong tree again? It will be painted so the look of the wood is not critical. Thanks in advance
