Try squares

Was in LIDLS the other day and they currently have an offer on a 3 pack of try squares in their middle 'bins'

3 for £5.99

Got them into the garage and they are totally square and true, the rulers are a bit flimsy but can never have too many as I'm always losing mine

I bought a pair of those a year or so ago. Use them loads and the fact that they're held together with socket screws means you can check and adjust them against a known good square every now and then.
I wasn't sure about the flex blades either but that hasn't been a problem at all and they're still as good as new.

Sorry chaps, just so I know what I am looking for when I eventually get to Lidls, try squares or set squares?

Try squares Mike. They vary in pack size I think, three smaller ones or two larger ones usually. The two I have are 700mm and 400mm , think the smaller trio are 500,250 and 150mm.
