    Axminster Table Saw Flatness

Not really and it's probably not worth worrying about but I have never owned a cast top table saw and want to keep on top of things if I have to.

    Axminster Table Saw Flatness

Thanks everyone, they sent a replacement top out but it was worse than the original. In the end I have told them I will just keep the original and repair it, they will also give me some cash back so im happy with that. Anyway with the chip on the cast top, what would you use to repair it...

    Axminster Table Saw Flatness

Evening all, I purchased a Axminster AW254TS (bench) table saw. While I am quite happy with it compared to my old Dewalt, much quieter and I like the cast iron top. I am not sure if I am being too fussy when it comes to the actual cast top. When it arrived it had a couple of small chips out...

    Choosing a Bench Grinder

Can anyone give any thoughts on these 3 bench grinders please, I did not want to purchase the typical cheaply made from Axminster or Record and came across these Warco models. Thanks Mark https://www.grinders-shop.com/heavy-duty-bench-grinder-8/...

    Choosing a Bench Grinder

Can I ask how you would recommend grinding a flat edge on the bit for the morticer? You might be able to see it in the picture. I was sort of thinking a grinder might just be a good little addition to the workshop for some tasks. Thanks

    Choosing a Bench Grinder

Thanks Phil, I dont have a lathe. I suppose like many I dont particularly like sharpening chisels, so I thought is I had one 120g CBN it would get a decent edge and then finish of on my flat plate.

    Choosing a Bench Grinder

Good morning, I am looking to purchase a bench grinder and need a little guidance choosing one. I have been looking at the Record Power and would mainly be using it for starting my chisel sharpening before hand sharpening, I also bought a Multico morticer and purchased some mortice bits...

    Hikoki 36V Table Saw

It's not totally cordless as you can get a mains adapter for it, which I thought was a great idea. Festool missed a trick with the battery powered saw I think.

    Hikoki 36V Table Saw

So I have been looking for a new tablesaw after selling my Dewalt. I know alot of people use site saws to fit in smaller workshops but often complain about noise levels and I see people asking about smaller saw with induction motors. Anyway I came across the Hikoki 36v tablesaw which can also...

    Table Saw Choices

Max width is 900mm and length 1000mm, if it had a side table that folded away when not in use, the would be fantastic. I see the Bosch was mentioned but although a great size, it goes back the the noisy saw as I dont think they are induction motors.
