Best Drawer Box Construction? (undermount runners)

What's everyone's thoughts on the best drawer box construction in a production environment (ie no hand cut joints) for undermount runners like Blum? Personally i've used dovetails in the past but always find that because of the cutout for the runner the lowest dovetail at the back is weakened...

Radian Cutters - their latest offerings

Cheers for the feedback Noggsy. Always useful to hear thoughts on how we could improve the site aswell. Phil, the rebate cutter is designed to cope with removing large volumes of material and its very important that the chips are ejected away from the bottom of the rebate, hence the up shear...

Radian Cutters - their latest offerings

Yes, we are growing the ranges steadily with the sales. It's been pretty exciting so far. We have a list of cutters we'd like to do in future. Its not quite as easy as just squeezing in a few more blades and carbide, especially on some profiles. We might do a poll on the forums in future...

    DIY CNC Router

Good points. I like the size of the machines from the guys at DIY CNC. It also looks like they have a fairly aggressive & energetic development schedule. (laser + 3d printing modules) If they manage to get a 4th axis version working I think I'd have to clear a space in the garage!

    DIY CNC Router

Has this been on the forums yet? Its a an American site that sells big DIY CNC router machines, Kits, or just plans if you want to do the whole lot. Everything is in imperial sizes, but they look very tempting! http://buildyourcnc.com/

    Four Flute Router Bits

We have confidence that we have created an exceptional product in terms of Finish, Longevity, convenience for template work and affordability. These discussions have highlighted that our initial marketing on the website are focussed too much on finish and to some extent are excluding the other 3...

    Four Flute Router Bits

Re photography. It is extremely difficult to show finish quality in a photo. It can only be compared really by touch. Its like photos showing the difference in sanding grades! The pics on our website show common routing results that all of us can recognise, and underline the reasons we want a...

    Four Flute Router Bits

This is because the limiting factor in wood routing is the ejection of the waste. As the bit is designed for finish and not really fast feed rates the gullets are not huge. The benefits being reliability and durability. When milling metal the feed rate is limited by other factors as the...
