I currently have a large Startrite saw with full sliding table etc. It’s by far over kill for what I require. (I bought it cheap and got it to a useable/running state)

I have been looking at the dewalt 745 but Someone local to me is selling a second hand Axminster TS - 200 - 2 complete kit including a small shop vac and a homemade cyclone advertised at £500.

Hi all, i bought a rather cheap Ta 300 that needs a bit of work. Its going to be my project so i can hopefully have it up and running properly by the summer.
Iv got it running fine so now its time to make it safe to use. when i bought it i was given about 40% of the frame work for the sliding...
So the time has come for me to buy a table saw blade. Now I understand this is like saying what car should I buy. But what/where should I buy my blade.
I also understand that you get what you pay for but I'm no professional, so I'm after a happy medium.

Hi, I have recently purchased a Startrite table. After a lot of research and speaking to a few different people from alt I believe the model to be either 255sp or a 300sp.

Thank you to everyone that has commented! I have now managed to windle the model down to two. 255sp or a 300sp. Unfortunately the standard parts I need are no longer available. So I'm on to the case of sourcing some retro fitting parts.
