    Bench Worktop

    I used 50mm or 2" thick Mdf, and it has stood up pretty well to a bit of use. I used 3000mm x 400mm offcuts that I got for free and just took a little time to make sure all the joints were nice and flush.

    wiring advice

    Most 3phase machines do not need a neutral, but some do, usually if they have a 240 volt control system or a 240 volt transformer for lo-vo lighting or something. In a lot of industrial situations the sockets are wired with 3 phases and a neutral and earth but the plugs only have the connections...

    Jasdon Are the roof sheets you intend to use single skin or the insulated sandwich type, kingspan I think is the trade name. I did all mine with insulated and it makes it really warm in the cold weather.

    Looks like a great machine, what sort of weight do you think? and what size is the motor?

    Is this timber expensive?

    I voted average , but I would have liked to have voted "A bit on the expensive side". As mentioned above the quantity is small ,the sizes are not standard and it is par which you will obviously be paying for. Can you not buy it sawn?

    What Broadband package?

    Don't bother with orange broadband the connection speed is up and down but mostly down unfortunately.

    Dewalt thicknesser

    I would really like a dewalt dw734 thicknesser, I had a good look over 1 in home depot and it looked real well made and with 3 disposable knives its easy to replace blades and I heard it gives a great finish, but where can i get 1? anybody know. Tia Mark P.s. they are too heavy to carry on to...

    Fobco pillar drill

    What a bizzare use for a drill, looks good though but you never know it may turn out to be a real turkey.
