Hi Dave I just get the right size screw I need ,either brass,steel etc... screw them in to a piece of scrap timber and spray paint them the colour required.it works a treat.

Got a small gap on a bedding box construction where a base moulding trim meets the carcase.It is only 0.5 mm and the only way i can think of sealing it is with fine sawdust and p.v.a. glue.does anyone have a secret formular i.e water down glue or consistancy ?

you have probably heard this before but what do i put on the sides and back of a drawer.i have waxed the interior as i made it.also do you stain it to match table construction.

why not try eazi vac bag ,used for house hold storage ?

thanks olly,thats very infomative,ihad looked at this origanally but like you said it worked out quite expensive as it is sold by the metre which leaves a large of cut,same with adhesive.however still waiting for companys to come back to me so may well be taking this approch yet.good details you...

can anyone help me locate a new tyre for my band saw. it takes a 21 inch dia wheel , read some where you can make your own and glue them on. ?

just brought 5 old plane irons with chip breakers ,tapered thick blades,a small side rebate plane,new 4.5" stanley iron and 2.0" stanley iron from woodvale rally in southport for £2.00.dont see this to often now !.Any way wanted to make my own wooden planes can any body show me an example of one...

you can try removing the door ,saturating in water and rehang forcing the door to twist in the oppersite dimension and over compensate by double,ie one inch and allow to dry naturally.the longer you leave it the better the result.
