Got a small gap on a bedding box construction where a base moulding trim meets the carcase. It is only
0.5 mm and the only way i can think of sealing it is with fine sawdust and p.v.a. glue.does anyone
have a secret formular i.e water down glue or consistancy ?

Don't water the glue down at all, generally I sand the same wood with 100 grit paper a d mix in until the colour is just darker than the finished wood and that gives a good match and strength, really the on,y thing the dust does is colour it, the strength of PVA is ok for gap filling, it just the shrinkage you want to watch out for.
