I'm looking to spray my dated oak kitchen with Bedec water based paint but don't want the grain to show through.I've seen people on YouTube using plasterers sealer to do this and have read of people using oil based primer to stop the grain showing through ,what is the best way to seal the grain.
Thanks.

A high build primer is designed to stop minor imperfections like grain texture showing.
