Hi,

As the title says. I have just ordered a stair case that will be delivered in flat pack form. The stair are 3 winders at the bottom then straight up. I am after any hints or tips for when I put them together as never done stairs before. Is it best to build the straight flight and the winders separate? They are 32mm redwood stringers, 22mm mdf treads and 9mm risers with stub newel at the bottom.

Thanks in advance

Jon

As the previous members have said, refer to the plans and instructions that will accompany you're lovely new stairs.
If it's a kit everything should be there even the glue
You'll find all the headache working out has been done or you.
Just take you're time and enjoy the experience and take pics, even if it's just for you're self but please share as we are always interested in a good old WIP.
Should you have any queries during the fit there's usually someone about to help.
Regards Rodders
