Hi been working on putting up cupboards in workshop. need a sanity check please
Plan is 32" high x 20"wide x 11 and 5/8" deep
Side panels in 18mm birch ply
Rear panel let into back by 1/3" due to slightly uneven walls, planning to use 1/4" ply for back
Shelves x 2 will be dado inset to approx 1/3" and rabbet for top and bottom again 1/3" deep
stretchers inside cupboard at 18 and 1/2" wide x 3" deep to aid fixing to wall and add some more material for support.
Plan is then to face the cut edge of the ply.
Four questions if i may ask for guidance-
Does the above seem sensible
What thickness of shelves and top and bottom
What would you face the front cut edges with, had though 3/4" x 1/4"
Doors what thickness and what type of hinge, need to be easy to install hinges
