Workshop/Shed Insurance

Iv'e been looking into renewing my house & contents insurance and have realised my shed is only covered by £2k maximum claim limit. When i asked the insurance co (Halifax) to raise they said that is their maximum and could not.

What/where or indeed if do members of this forum have seperate insurance policy solely for their workshop/shed or has your insurance co given you a higher limit.

i use workshop/shed as mine would be clased as an outbuilding...not attached to the house.
